I do want challenges, and that you must meet certain requirements before you can hope to take down vampire lords or arena masters - being able to do this at lv1, if you just practise combat skills marked as minor skills, is a broken gameplay concept, IMO.

Me, I think it's a good enough idea, but the execution is crap, as usual. It also makes it so that once you hit certain levels, you never see creatures of a certain type again, and the bandits that demand 100 gold from you are sporting hugely magical and expensive plate armor and weaponry themselves.and this is each bandit you ever meet. Everything in the world depends on YOU, the player.

If every place you go to contains creatures exactly your level so they're suitable for you, and if you go out and level up some, they level up too.it does feel a bit counterintuitive. Once you know it's there, level scaling may break your immersion and challenge-wanting desires quickly.
